I’m kind of a Big Deal…
For some reason, people love to write things about me.
Calendar Girl
Miss January – 2025
As you can see on the right, I am Miss January in the SCGRR calendar for 2025.
You may already know that I am a rescue pup from Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue. (They are the third largest Golden Retriever Rescue in the country, finding homes for over 300 dogs annually.)
One of SCGRR’s annual fund raisers includes selling calendars that feature only Golden Retrievers rescued by their organization.
My parents submitted my photos and a brief description of what I do and why people love it. After an online vote, I finished as one of the top three vote getters.
The folks at SCGRR selected me to lead off the new year in January and I couldn’t be more proud.

You may recall when my friend Lucy May, the newest Bat Dog for the Clearwater Threshers, had a, let’s just say, a notorious yet viral debut?
Lucy May’s inauspicious debut inspired Washington Post writer Sydney Page to write up an article on the bat dog phenomenon.
Ms. Page reached out to me via my Instagram page and included me in her article.
